Why there’s a paywall at all

CoffeeQuant started as a free side-project — daily sparks, simple visuals, and “desk-truth” explanations. Traffic has grown, and the tools are getting heavier: Monte Carlo, vol-target IUL engines, server-side pricing.

To keep this sustainable (and ad-free), some pieces now sit behind a light HKD 100 / year paywall: enough to cover infra, not enough to need a sales deck.

How it works

  1. Sign in with Google (top right). You’ll see “Signed in as …” when it works.
  2. Click “Subscribe with Stripe”.
  3. Complete payment (HKD 100 / year) on Stripe’s secure checkout page.
  4. Stripe sends a confirmation to CoffeeQuant; your account is flagged as premium and Labs / Tools tagged Premium unlock.

You can cancel renewal any time from your Stripe customer portal (link coming soon).
